Privacy policy
Last updated 29 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data [Legal name as on PAN] ("we", "us") collects when you use Seoprama, why, and what choices you have. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password (stored in encrypted form).
- Billing details: your plan, payment dates, amounts and invoices. Card, UPI and bank details are collected by our payment processor, not by us.
- What you add to the service: websites, keywords, competitors and projects you create.
- Connected accounts: if you connect Google Search Console, we store access to that data so we can show it to you. You can disconnect it at any time.
- Usage data: pages you visit in the app, the browser and device you use, and your IP address, used to keep the service secure and working.
How we use it
- to run your account and provide the features you use;
- to take payments and send invoices and receipts;
- to send important emails such as sign-up verification, password resets and billing notices;
- to prevent fraud and abuse and keep the service secure;
- to understand which features are used, so we can improve them.
We do not sell your personal data.
Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers that help us run Seoprama, and only what they need:
- Razorpay Software Private Limited to process payments;
- Cloudflare to host the website and app;
- DataForSEO, which receives the keywords and websites you look up (not your name or email) so it can return SEO data;
- an email delivery provider to send account and billing emails;
- Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google or connect Search Console.
We may also share data if required by law or a valid government request.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except billing records, which we keep as long as Indian tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also withdraw consent for optional uses. Email [Support email] and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your settings. We may use basic analytics to understand how the website is used.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and passwords are stored in hashed form. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
Changes
If we make significant changes to this policy, we will email you before they apply.
